EXPERIENTIAL / MUSIC / SPATIAL ACTIVATION
CAPSULE
PROJECT.
BUILD A STAGE.
WE DROPPED A SIGNAL.
Put something impossible to ignore at the centre of the mall and turn it into a living media platform.
For VILLAGE shopping & more, ATWU developed The Capsule Project, an experiential installation designed to interrupt the familiar shopping environment with something unexpected.
An iconic silver Airstream capsule was positioned at the centre of the destination and transformed from a vehicle into a fully functioning music and content space.
Inside, the capsule was redesigned around a DJ console and live broadcasting studio, hosting DJ sets, live radio sessions and podcasts across an extended activation period.
Outside, lighting, sound and spatial production transformed its unmistakable metallic form into a visual landmark, creating a completely different atmosphere around the installation.
ONE OBJECT.
MULTIPLE EXPERIENCES.
THE ICON
An Airstream capsule became an unexpected visual object at the centre of the shopping destination.
THE STUDIO
The interior was transformed into a live broadcast and music studio built around a professional DJ setup.
THE CONTENT
Live radio shows, podcasts and DJ sets turned the installation into an ongoing content platform rather than a static display.
THE LIGHT
Dynamic programmed lighting transformed the capsule's reflective exterior into a constantly changing visual experience.
THE SOUND
A dedicated sound system expanded the experience beyond the capsule and into the surrounding public space.
THE DESTINATION
The activation created a new reason to stop, watch, listen and engage inside VILLAGE shopping & more.
THE SPACE.
CHANGE IT.
